How to Make a Killer Playlist

How to Make a Killer Workout Playlist

Music can either make or break a workout so we’ve enlisted in the help of Anthony Garcia, head Lomax Cycle Blast instructor and renowned for his killer tunes, to give us some insight into what he believes makes a good workout playlist.
1. ANYTHING GOES
From classical to rock, pop to musical theatre, I always try to include a variety of music genres in my playlists. It keeps things interesting and the whole class happy.
2. STICK TO WHAT YOU KNOW (AND LIKE)
Include a couple of tracks that you know and love. Your favourite tracks can take you from struggling to finish to singing along!
3. KEEP THE BEAT
Whilst my tracks are varied in genre they all have a good rhythm. A solid beat across the board means you can keep up the pace and still get lost in the music.
Follow Lomax on Spotify for Anthony’s favourite tracks along with a mix of playlists developed by the Lomax fitness team to help power you through your workout.
